for example *cough eric cough* when a wife says.. no i don't want something for my birthday
it means you better get me something for my birthday or your not getting laid for a year.

:D

she probably *somewhat* means it but you still better get her something.

why don't women say... I want [insert whatever they want] for my birthday...
this would make things very easy...

if a guy says... don't buy me anything for my birthday... this means... put a bowtie around your neck and jump around the corner to supprise him, or perhaps cook a nice dinner for him... the guy for sure is not thinking "that woman better get me [insert some odd item] for my birthday or I'm dumping that bitch"

So anywho the new guy at work that I didn't like so much to begin with... NOT on my good list at all now. He seems to have an attitude with women to begin with...
Started shit talking my FJ b/c its not a jeep.. and "he wheeled a stock cherokee across Moab".
yea well... wrong thing to say to me... (besides Im pretty sure hes throwing out the BS card anyways)
and im pretty sure he drives a grandma mobile so he has no room to shit talk anyways.
So we got into it and I got him to shut up pretty good stating..

If your jeeps are so good why do I have to tug them out when I go wheeling?
His comeback: well thats gotta be driver error because a Jeep can handle anything.
My response: So your saying a girl in an IFS toyota can outwheel a guy in an "I can handle anything jeep". He shut up really fast.

RedRunnertc

Stock vehicles can do quite a bit in Moab. You'll see when you move out here...

I'll put a stock FJ against a stock Jeep (even a Rubicon) any day of the week. Take him down to Wellsville and up Strugis/Axle Alley in your FJ versus any stock wheelbase (I don't care how modified otherwise) Jeep ...

Well, speaking of relationships, I adopted another dog. A chocolate lab found me when she almost got hit by a car in front of my house. I called her over and checked for tags, and she didn't have a collar on, and didn't have a tattoo. I tied her up in my front yard hoping that the owner would come looking for her, but they didn't. I waited about 2 hours, then I called animal control. They came and got her and I was hoping that she would have a chip, or that the owner would call animal control to claim her, but they didn't. She was a very well behaved dog, and had been taken care of, and I couldn't see her being put down, so I told animal control that if no one claimed her that I would like to adopt her. So, here are some pics of Mocha, my new chocolate lab:

Yeah, when I went to the shelter I couldn't believe how many labs there were there, both purebred and mixes. They can be hard headed and difficult to train, but damn...it sickens me how many people get dogs that have no idea how to train or take care of them, and then end up just dumping them off. I just couldn't stand to see such a good dog put down or go to a bad home. She is really awesome. VERY well behaved and she gets along with Jack and Shadow great. She looks like a purebreed, but I have no way of knowing, and it doesn't really matter anyway.

if ya go to an audio store, and the salesperson is a super hot babe...
she is suggestion some speakers which have a very muddy midrange for more money the the speakers at the last shop (which also sounded very good), but she is VERY hot... do you:

A) buy the speakers and ask her out...
B) do some pickup line like... "well if I buy these speakers, I'll need someone to use them with"...
C) forget about the muddy speakers and just take her out....
D) tell her you feel these speakers are muddy in the midrange, and are looking for better sounding speaker

I have dipped my pen in the company ink (kind of). My girlfriend of three years I met through my old boss because it was her daughter. When we got serious it was kind of a pain. Had to change job titles so her mom was not my boss. Looks kind of weird when I change positions in my company. Every new boss asks why I was only in my position for only three months.

Went threw this a lot with Steph. First I was in college and she wasn't I would go back home and say hi to her about every other weekend. Then we broke up for a bit. After we kind of got back together she had joined the airforce we only saw each other twice I think in a 6 month span or so. After that back to college for the both of us and we lived together for a year. Then I graduated and went to work so back to the every other weekend visit or so. Now we are married and living together. I am a loner sometimes though and need my space so distance might of helped things move along.

Well, if said chick lets said dude in then either:

1)She's just broken up with her a-hole boyfriend and needs the shoulder of her NICE guy FRIEND to cry on before moving on to the next a-hole boyfriend.

-or-

2) she wants D and/or E, in which case, like Una said the proper thing to do would be to take her to breakfast afterwards. Of course, most places don't open up until around 6 or 7, so you have to make sure to perform well for 3 hours or so.

well it's not as exciting as you all probably thought...

after Dan's wedding on the west side of cleveland (pics are posted in the geek thread if you like to see), I was driving home to my parents in warren to stay the night...
I got bored on the drive, so called my friend amanda who lives in pittsburgh...
she's cool but we are friends (not with benifits  )

she said something to the effect of, "dang, I'm hungry for icecream",
so me being the nerd I am, suggested we go out for icecream after I take a shower at my parents...

so I get to my parents, take a shower, and leave for pittsburgh...
it is about 02:45 when I get to her place in pittsburgh, and I am now really hungry, so suggest we get breakfast rather than icecream... she aggrees...
so we eat breakfast at tom's diner, then head back to her place where we...

wait for it...
.
.
.

watched movies, till I passed out (guessing around 6am)

woke up around 09:00, and went to the zoo since it was nice out, then went home...

no kissing, no sex, sorry guys

my parents of course are aware of this since I stopped by their house to take a shower and... well... now mom thinks I am a slut, or go to meet sluts at 3 in the morning , or both

Slut? no.

Nerd? yes!

So lemme get this straight. You went from the West Side (where all the cool people used to live LOL) to Warren to Pittsburgh to get breakfast? What is that, like 3 hrs on the road? Why didn't you have her meet you in Warren (ie halfway)?

Dammit, where is that L on the forehead smiley...
