TTORA Deals at Discount Tire?

Hey all, I did a search on the forum but didnt see anything I was looking for.

I was wondering if there is anyone on the list that works at Discount Tire in the Denver area, or if anyone has a good tire connection or knows if anyone in the Denver area gives a TTORA discount. It seems my connection is no longer working with Discount.

I am in the need of some new tires, but the quote I got today just about made me crap myself..

$800!!! I am so jealous. I gave almost 1200 for my set of 285/75 16's. Well with a spare but still that puts me at like a grand for a set of 4. Tires really aren't cheep at all anymore if you want a set that is going to last for more than a year. Guess part of my thing was I refuse to run anything but BFG All Terrains.

4 years ago I bought a set of 33" bfg mts for my bronco and paid just under 400 bux.. but that was through my bud who worked at discount. It helps when you factor in a warranty replacement discount. :cool: That alone just shows you how much of a markup thay have on them things. If I go to discounttire.com I can get the set with certs delivered to the house for right at 650.00.

I still think that is way too high.

Well it looks like I get to answer my own question.. I found a guy. So far he told me he'll match the online price of 648.00 with certs and valves... Told him about the car clubs I'm in and he seemed interested in possibly working a deal for members. We'll see.

A year ago I paid $601 for 4 BFG's 31x10.5 here in the Denver area. i had to work the sales man to get that price. I have heard they went up though.:jack:

2 years ago bought 4 brand new 305/70r16 retreads for $300. Think they've gone up to 80 bucks a pop, but it's still a steal. Google high tech retreading. They have alot of sizes and tread types. Up to 37 inch.
