A quick trip to Baja today and what Did I find?

I decided to go on a quick trip out to Mexico with some good friends and test out the tacos and see some mexican fab work. Guess what I find? A fully caged, linked, yada yada yada. Thing had some money in it. Check this out. Sorry for the phone pics.(thats all I had with me)
Front had J-arm cust.set up getting 18 with 4wd and huge hubs
Rear 4link pullin 30" with Ford 9 full floater

Yeah that bumper was not to my liking. They about crapped when I pulled up though. one more. I want to get a ride in this thing. It had 6 into 1 headers on it. I bet it is fast especially with the rear set up.

I'm surprised that you don't know any of the Fabricators over there. They are like just over the border. Look at the lower arm. That is who they are. Cool guys too. They had some sick stuff over there.

there is a huge brace at the firewall, and it looks like everything else is braced pretty good, im willing to bet tehre is a brace at the front of the engine compartment as well, with all the lateral bracing of the towers in there, there really doesnt need to be a bolt on tower brace

You know them? And their Fab is assy?:confused: They had a 2007 Jeep something that was fully caged but you couldn't even tell. Thing looked stock inside. Some cool stuff and different stuff like the bumper on the Tacoma.

yea that is almaraz racecraft in tj they race a class 7 in the code series and some score theres some great stuff that comes out of fab shops in mexico and it is way cheaper too.

I talked to DMZ Tim looking for estimates and he was a really NICE and friendly guy! We talked shop a little and he told me about that truck. He told me after he looked under, he saw that there was something wrong with the geometry concerning the Links. Well i didnt ask for specifics, i probably wouldnt understnad anyways haha Ok thats my post for the day.

Oh yes defintely, they already sent me an invoice. Ive got the money all saved up and waiting to be spent (thats what 12hr shifts gets ya). I just need WAY more seat time in my truck with coilovers. So when i feel comfortable ill give em a call.

I called shops that have pulled out exceptional work and suprsingly DMZ had the best price. And Tim is definetly a nice guy who explained, suggested etc. I called other shops and they were like "What do you want...ok bye". Just food for thought.

Wow that is creepy I did the same exact thing as you, but im goin this Saturday to give Tim (great guy) my deposit so when they have time to do my truck I can just drive my truck down there and drop it off.
