View Full Version : NC wheeling this week?

Was wondering if anyone wanted to go to Crackers Neck one weekday this week? I am out of school for spring break and have been itching to go for about a month now. Any places near Winston-Salem, Boone, etc. Don't want to drive the 5-6 hours to Tellico for a day trip though.

Sure wish I had spring break off from work.
Did you go on that run with the NC4x4 boys at Beach Mt about a month or 2 ago?
I`ve been to it(was in the area) and went maybe a 1/2 mile down the trail but was by myself and turned around. Don`t know how rough it gets but from what they were saying it gets a little tougher further down the trail.

Nah I didn't go on that run, if it turns out you can go saturday it is still a possible trip. I can go, and two friends might be able to go, so if both of them can, it will probably be a definite trip. Will probably meet up there around 10:00 in Boone

What day are ya'll going? Maybe I can get that day off work and get a couple of buddies too. Let me know, i'm definitely interested.

We are going Saturday, to crackers neck, mild to hard trails. it is in Mountain City Tennesse.

Sorry, I see ya'll are meeting in Boone, that's cool, I will tell my buddies and maybe we can make it out there.

Well we don't have to stop in Boone. We are leaving from Winston-Salem around 8:00. Where are you comiong from we can stop along the way and meet you if needed.
