finally doin a tm run!!!!

well after my run in with the law (last time) and 2 hellacious work weeks i am finally going to run table mesa, ive never been up there, hear theres some really nice trails, and i found a couple guys down to go..........so if ANYONE ELSE wants to go ya'll are MORE than welcome to join us, there are only three rigs goin so far


would be cool if somone who knows the area can show us around.......

we are heading out on sat between 10 and noon so we can do some night wheelin too

Hmmm. I guess if you stay on the roads away from the trails that could be true. TM has trails that are often considered to be more on the advanced side.

If'n I was you, I'd plan on either wheelin after dark or early in the morning - like being there about 6 or 7AM, and being done by noon. The wash trails are flat miserable in hot weather.

For the guy with the prerunner - head east on TM (FS 41) to Cave Creek Rd. (FS 24) and Seven Springs - that's a good day trip. I can't even recommend going to Tip Top via west TM unless you have a 4x4 along.

I think if we had a video of me on the Z-turn at the end of X people that didn't know might start to understand the true meaning of beating bitches and gettin' some. Even those who think they know wouldn't understand cause they were not there. There was some serious metal vs. rock and rubber burning on rock going on there, WOOOOOOOOOOO! 6" and 32's, my god! You can fit 33's on those stock. Keept it low and cut the fedners off. I know your eager and all, but like I said, this trip might not be for you. I'm gonna do a FJ run in a few weeks with some smaller rigs on the Woodpeckers and maybe a couple other trails, you'd probably like that trip alot better.

yeah 32's cause i got em for $30 each with 90% tread, when i baught the truck it only had 32" a/t's so i coudnt pass em up, plus i dont have a cam yet or a header so for now im liking the gas mileage w/ da 32's

when motor has more power then ill go to bigger tires

Seriously though..........Lower Terminator should be more than doable in an older SA truck with a front locker and sliders.........he might not want to run all the hard lines, but it's not really that big of a deal. What's the matter, afraid a Toy that's not built would show you up??? :D

No pissin contest.........Miller has never run these trails so he isn't the foremost expert on them (YET)..........I have run/riden along/walked Lower Terminator enough times to know that a moderately skilled driver in an older Toy with a front locker and sliders could easily get through it and Raw Deal............unfortunately, aside from the fire roads out there, that's the extent of trails a vehicle of that nature could expect to play on...........the trails on the next level get significantly harder and the next level beyond that.........well :eek: and then the trails harder than that become :explode:

From what I heard, Raw Deal is 15 minutes, so might as well run it!

It's more like 20-30 min. including the top section (upper) by the mining pile.........but it's really not much of anything but a wash with a couple little ledges and alot of trash from the shooters! :mad:

I ran Raw Deal about two years ago at night in a reg cab stock as can be 4x with 31's on it but it also took about an hour and alot of spotting. And just a little rear bumper damage

"make it through" depends on how much damage you want to endure and how much others are willing to strap you over obstacles and fix your junk when if/when it breaks. Seriously though, it depends upon the amount of lift you have and your driving experience - if you're a newb like you say, I would suggest finding a more newb friendly trail - perhaps Crown King.
