Extra long studs are machined from 1020 CRS steel in house and coped for a perfect fit, then TIG welded to the housing. The entire housing can be plated for superior corrosion resistance. Studs avilable in various sizes as well a separately.
-1.25"-12 tpi stud has 3.75" of threaded shank
-1.0" -14 tpi stud has 3.25" of threaded shank
-7/8"-18 tpi stud has 3.0" of threaded shank
-3/4"-16 tpi stud has 2.75" of threaded shank

It's a sexy time. You mean the ones that Bernie said, "NOOOOO I destroy cartridge joints." Followed by "yes, I want these, with a big shank on them though". I think you need like levels of parts Jeff, Average wheeler 1/4" stuff, 3/4" shank, hard wheeler 5/16" stuff, 1" shank, and Bernie-proof brackets and joints, 3/8" stuff, 1.25" shank!
I have also seen said joints, bling bling fo sho. Also they are beat your bitch approved.

Well, here it is! The Massive 3.0" rebuildable BALLISTIC joint exclusively from Ballistic Fabrication is built to withstand extreme punishment. It's extra large 3/4" bore (bolt hole) is large enough to handle heavy torque, while the huge 3.0" diameter .210" wall housing accomodates over 25 degrees of misalignment both ways. We mold some automotive parts from Nylatron GS; it's a high quality resin that makes it easy to hold +/-0.0002" tolerances :)
