Where is a good place to buy steel? Seeing Gerdo's setup inspired me to start my own bumper buildup.:welder:

Ok I need to read other threads before starting my own. Just read steel source thread.

AllPhase and Spidertrax both sell tube. I don't know how their prices compare, but they're close so you won't be spending a bunch of money on gas to run into SE Denver ...

This is kind of the design I'm going for. Simple and easy to build with a porta-band, grinder, and welder.

Your front is round tube though - why not go with that? I work with a guy who has a bender and a notcher ... he lives not too far from you...

That's the magic of having conections. My skill and tooling level was square. Now I believe it will expand 360 degrees.lol

just a thought to think on

you might consider getting rid of the D-ring mounts on each side and Opt for the
removable kind that goes in the receiver
That way when you really have to pull hard to get the jeep unstuck you will not
tweak your frame by just pulling from one side of your frame.:2cents:

2more cents square looks and works much better than the round stuff

I've rethought my design allready. Go figure
Oh ya splitting hairs but those are supposed to be shackles.
