Our little baja adventer scored me a star in the windshield from yo tire Hank. No biggie. What I get for tailgating on a section of road with rocks the size of baseballs.lol

Yeeehaw, Encampent!
Kyle (Towerrigger) didn't know it cause his CB was out of commission, but the whole ride from Encampment to Walden we were just guessing and hoping we were heading the right direction. Lol! We got there though! Only when we crossed over the CO border did we see a single sign indicating where we were, and that we were on the right track. ferking wyoming!

haha.i have to admit, i was pretty worried that we would end up in canada or something. street signs cant be that expensive, shit. that picture of your truck and the sweet background, is well sweet.

Yeah, that last leg of the trip was fucking scenic....but today I got to drive right by the fire burning near Glenwood Springs. Right off the highway. I saw a helicopter scoop a bucket of water out of the river and dump it, and two planes doing acrobatics overhead. It was so crazy, I actually saw a wall of flames, not just smoke. Tourists were going crazy snapping photos. I got drunk in Glenwood. What a great Monday!

Glad you guys made it to Walden. I was a little worried also that I might have given bad directions. Brendan, sorry to hear about your diff. Good to hear they are covering it though. I had some mech issues as well. I knocked the front end out of alignment, the steering wheel is clocked to the left about 10 degrees. With all the electronic sensors that the FJ has, it caused some warning lights to come on. The fix is pretty easy though, I just need to get an alignment.
Molly, thanks for the awesome chow. I don't eat that well at home!!!! Glad you guys made it home and that Troy's rig made it without a tow.
Anyway here is some video of the first mudhole. Be warned that there is a beaver shot, so it might not be suitable for younger audiences...

mmmm muddy beaver *grin*
My YouTube debut.....Our rally road out was a lot of fun as well. A nice smooth gravel road with no potholes and minimal washboard.....I don't get to see that very often. Not much traffic either.
Nice video stagecoachco, many an airbourne front end...

LOL I promise the video is coming. Er at least it would be if I wasn;t up till 10:00 every night this week working on troy's truck. (Ok Tuesday I had a meeting till late)
Still I think we got his rigged fixed so we can do the cont divide trail this weekend. Sorry guys. Wheeling takes precedence over the video of wheeling. :D I will have it done in the next few days though. Worse comes to worse I will do it in the car on troy;s laptop while we drive to aspen this friday. LOL
Oh and I am gonna snag some of the pics you all posted up so far. Awesome!

Special thanks to Molly and Troy for bucking up and joining us after their rig took a crap en route...
Also, Jade and Tony, tanks for the late evening escort with Molly and Troy through the bog.
Brandon, hell of a good sport getting down and dirty, broken and ready to go again!
A few pics:
Jade makes it look easy... perhaps it was:cool:

Yeah, thats a grill on Tony's rack, always be prepared! :D

Molly, hell of a fine meal after a fun day gettin' mucked up! It took me three hours to get the mud off of and out of the rig. Also managed to tweak the front ARB skid. Impacting and packing mud almost ripped it off and now it's beveled up toward the base of the radiator. Looks like it's time to get out a hammer :D ... Yup the hammer worked, but sheared off a couple of bolts I had to tap and re-sert :)
