Ran in to the rock garden and back out. Lots of fun lines, Jeff and I both went up and down the notch right before the rock garden. No real problems until Jeff's rig had no power to start when we were exiting at the gate. Jumped it and away we went. Good run :beer

Random funny part of the day was when I was trying to enter the area below the notch to attempt to go up it. Going out of this spot included alot of metal to rock contact and some skinny pedal. I was getting flexed out and caught up on diffs trying to go back in and Jeff says, "I don't think you're gonna be able to get back in here." So I back it up about 2 feet and hammered it and made it through, metal meeting rock quite nicely. Then Jeff says, "Or you can just do that."

Notch thingy that was quite undercut

The windshield frame didn't like this(that's ok, cause I don't like the windshield frame), or the top. Lots of metal is missing and the top is torn.

Yeah, fun stuff, kinda like Elvis in the fact that you can make it as hard as you want to. One stop though you have one option, which I was talking to Eric about how it would be interesting to see a long wheelbase Tacama do because it's a SUPER sharp off-camber turn, no Z-style stuff and there is very little room to go forward or back. A front burn however would do the trick.

Nice pics man.

Holy smokes you DO wheel the shit out of your rig. It's amusing to see a "close to stock" looking Jeep being put through some of the stuff you go through. Niiice.

Hell yeah. All to get out there and have some fun and wheel with some good people. That's what I bought it for. I was just thinking about it Saturday, all the trails I've run since I got it and I said shit, I beat this thing worse than I think. This is what I came up with:

Tucson:
Chivo Falls
Charouleau Gap
Sutherland Trail

East PHX:
Willow Springs

Table Mesa:
Lower Raw Deal
Upper Raw Deal
Lower Terminator
Upper Terminator
Judgement Day
Predator

Florence:
Lower Woodpecker
Upper Woodpecker
Lower Ajax
Upper Ajax
Upper Ajax Extension
Martinez Cabin
Martinez Canyon
Elvis
Jackhandle
X
Axle Alley
And played around starting up and going backwards from the end of both Woody's Wash and Highway to Hell.

Hoping to get in Tax Collector, Firebird, Ruler, and Payette Draw before I swap it still.

Spinnas...

Looks like a nice trail. How is it aside from that nasty windshield frame trashing notch? I believe I did a run at Sunflower Mine a few months back with Bill (It was the Daytime VJC run). Nice folks and they were kind enough to let me tag along in my stock taco. I want to hit it again in the future now that I've changed wheels, tires, and added some height. I think I can get Bobbybouche to tag along as well. Just need to find the free time and a good guide. Having only been there once, I wouldn't want to get anyone lost.

Do you need a Bulldog Canyon Permit (combination) to get in there or is it out side of it?

Bulldog Canyon permit is required. Also, the windshield eating notch is an optional line. The word bypass isn't exactly in my vocabulary, especially is the only reason for bypass is because of body damage:D

Cool, I'll hit you up when I get a chance. Have a new baby due to arrive at the end of July, so I expect tomorrow's Butcher Jones run to be my last until after the arrival. I'm guessing I'll be able to do it in august. I know at least a couple others who'd tag along.
