I have 285's and they rub the frame at full steer. What sort of bs do I need on the wheels to stop the rubbing? Same question for 315's? I have 4.5 in right now, and it rubs the frame, and the upper control arm sometimes, as well as the sway bar when it's disco'ed.

Wellllll ... here's the problem ... less backspacing is going to GREATLY increase the rub of the tires on the fenders. Fenders rip off, frames don't.
That said, I have always heard 3.5 - 3.75 BS on 8" rims. If you're really concerned about rubbing, you would be better to go with a tall/skinny tire like a 255/85-16
How much lift do you have?
What kind/year is your rig?

I have a '99 4Runner with a 3" Toytec spacer lift with OME shocks for now... I just busted both upper ball joints wheeling this past weekend. I gotta figure out how to fix that permanantly. I'm thinking about going to Tundra coils instead. Any suggestions?
