Its a only your imagination playing tricks on you, insignificant one. Although it's on full weight, I can't roll it into the driveway since I have no steering or brakes and my driveway slopes to the street. My luck it would roll over the wifes car and into hte neighbors front yard.

Like I keep telling you, I wouldn't mind testing my bumper out on you, as in the physical you. Let me know when and I can make the arrangements.:D All kidding aside I am getting very excited about the prospect of finishing this thing. My wife came out and said it looked like I was almost done. I explained it to ther like this. If this truck were a new house I would have the foundation and the framing done and that is it. She said "Oh, so I will not see you for another 4 months.?"

78 Ford Snowfighter, and Pre-87 14 bolt. I found some, but they are not really what I was looking for. I wanted the cap type nuts, not the open ones. I know the front is 1/2-20, not sure about the rear.

Eric, the one thing that helps me the most with the heat is wearing a long sleeve shirt and getting it wet before I start working. Then have a few fans going and it acts as an evap cooler for about an hour. Soak and repeat. That is the only way I can tollerate working in the garage during the summer. That is the same reason you guys never see me wearing a short sleeve shirt on any of our runs.
yea I don't get the long sleve thing....makes me hot! I know it's better if your in direct sun but in the shade?

That's gotta be fun when your grinding!!!
I have a few hour window to get stuff done in my garage in the mornings before the heat catches up to it.........that's when I try to get most stuff done lately. I also like to wait until dusk when it starts to cool off a little and crank the fans..........not sure my neighbors appreciate it too much, but I gotta do what I gotta do! :D
I'll have to give the wet t-shirt approach a try...........although I think It'll be hard to get much work done, what with all the ladies starring at my wet, hard nipples!!!

Ooooohhhh, later, not an image I wanted in my head. Anyway, a loose long sleeve shirt creates a pocket of air between your skin and the shirt. When the air moves around it causes evaporation, but not to the point where you dry out. Short sleeve shirts cause your skin to loose its moisture too fast thus defeating the evaporative cooling effect and causing heat related illnesses. Don't soak your shirt to the point where it is dripping, just enough water to get the top half wet.

So I shouldn't wear sheer white shorts that are soaking wet because my balls will spontainiously combust from the moisture or will they just chaffe really bad??? :D

Well, I have to install the crawler which Marlin says won't be here for four weeks. Then the hydro and drivelines and I am good to go. So, that translates into early 08....

You have to have balls that have dropped before you can get chaffing, so that only leaves spontainious combustion:lmao:
