How many sas'd tacos or 3rd gen up 4runners do we have running around Arkansas that yall know of..To my knowledge I am the only one with in a probably 150mi radius of me with one. Dan? has one in NW Arkansas.. Besides that I don't honestly know of anyone. I would love to say I was the first to build a Solid Axle Taco here in Arkansas but not for sure that I am. Give me some feedback.
Right after the SAS

Nice truck :kewl:
I think Paul (newman99) is collecting parts to do a SAS on his Taco. I guess that would make him #2.

Yea if there is one thing I can emphasize more than anything it's make sure you have everything. Bolts and nuts are the biggest pain in the @$$ when you need them on a saturday afternoon and the hardware store has closed down at noon and won't be open again til monday. All the small things and shipping time made my swap a month undertaking. I wouldn't honestly try to do it in a weekend because of the mistakes that you could make rushing it. But if you have any questions call me(I'll PM you my cell #)..and I might be able to come down depending on how the money situation is. Yea and feel free to come up sometime and check mine out. I'm about 2hrs from ya, 15 miles southeast of Jonesboro. The leafs would ride awesome but I had issues with my hangers locking back against the frame when i braked hard so we had to move the spring hanger forward and I ended up with a 75* shackle angle on the front. Don't bother asking ?'s I enjoy talking on the subject so it's not a problem...:p

Hey, you pointed out your waggy axle last time I was there. I took mental note to pay attention whenever you start you're SAS.
Nothing lights a fire under your ass like a hundred web wheelers asking "Any progress yet?" every 3 days. I thought I'd get a REAL early start :lmao:

Yea thats motivation and I planned on doing my swap at work. We build racecars here so equipment won't be a problem. All the little thgings like nuts, bolts, washers, and grinding disc's will be available. Keeping up with it all might be a problem. Someday ???

Well if you can get nuts, bolts, washers, and grinding discs for free then your gonna have atleast $300 jump on me when i did mine. I guarantee you that they will add up to $300 or better...
