I've been searching for a lift for a 1963 Land Cruiser for a friend, and everything I find comes up for 64-80. I even called pro-comp and asked if their kit K-5064 would work on a 63. THe sales person said no, and when I asked why he just said it wasn't listed on the applications. I don't know much about FJ-40's so if anyone knows of a lift to use, or if the pro-comp lift will work to gain 2-4" let me know. Thank you in advance.
the reason most aftermarket equipment starts at the 1964 date is because Toyota did not set up good housekeeping in USA until 1964. 1963's and older arrived through Mexico, Canada, or ??? Springs should not be a problem, we make 4" lifts, others make 0" to 4". Issue may be OD or ID of spring bushings. Measure yours, then call me, I'll see what we can do!!! (562) 949-9494.
