Finger, nose, leg and ankle. I believe that the only replaceable ones are knees and hips though.

I've put a hole in my radiator. I've lost a spark plug (took out threads with it) such that I rode home on a trailer. Exploded an inner wheel bearing on the freeway.

Anything you can break on a truck, I've seen broken on the trail. Anything can happen out there.

grenaded outer joint (Dusy trail)
ripped inner boot (Dusy)
dented rocker panels (before sliders)
several other dents
mangled rear diff to the point I have a skid on it now ;)
bashed front skids all the time
lots of gashes in the tires
shreaded rims
miles of pinstripes

after running Dusy my truck makes a bunch of strange noises and creaks a lot more than it used to. I just keep waiting for something to fall off, LOL

Nothing yet but a couple of dents. Installing a front locker first of next year so i guess I'll pick up a spare half shaft...... :eek:

When i had ifs, get ready the list is long.. CV's (i almost broke 30 before i went solid), Balljoints (upper and lower), front and rear drive shafts got twisted like a pretzel, front diff blew peices of the ring and pinion out the side, rear ring and pinion has broke, 2 rear axles broken, spider/side gears exploded once, tore the rear shackle off the frame (thank god for people with onboard welders) i cant think of anything else now, but it goes to show ya that everything under there can and will break if you give it enough hell. IMO carry spare, CV's, a spare rear 3rd, spare front and rear driveshafts with u-joints, upper and lower ball joints and you should be ok, and of corse all the normal stuff....

I havent ever broke anything on my taco but it hasn't really been in any bad situations. No rocks here in mobile ala. The only thing I have seen broken on a taco was my cousins we where jumping hills on a powerline and getting about 15' of air it did alright the first but the second time on impact blow the beads on the driver side front tire. Not to mention was extremely stuffing his 33"s into the from fenders. He used to have it on video a buddy of ours filmed it.

O yeah I did break something I was backing out of my g/f's driveway and didnt see a saturn car sitting on the side of the rode I put my rear bumper through the drivers side window. Just heard a crunch. But thats what happens when you lift 12" and run tall tires. Alot cheaper than buying a new door.

Rear main, which took out clutch. Latest trip out was able to seperatet he cab of the truck from the frame coming down offa 2 foot ledge. Nothing like the sound of a .22 caliber pistol going off in the cab and realizing that it was your rear body mounts.

The bolt on the bracket on the rear of the differential. It sheered off while on the trail, and it pushed the driveline/diff up into the tranny and it wore a groove in the tranny before I could get off the trail to fix it. I ended up using zip ties to secure the diff to drive the 1.5 hours home.

if ya got it bring it... especially if your going on a long ride and dont want to be sitting your ass back at camp while everyone else is riding becuase you broke your stuff and didnt bring spares. most of my spares are split between myself and 3 other guys who have the exact same axle setup's, so most of the expensive stuff gets covered by all of us. but i do admit my buddy who brings spare tranny's/motors and shit is a little excessive.. :D

CV boots, outer tie rod (didn't breakit, bent it...) center mount on the steering rack. Drivers side steering rack bolt+bushing, and it looks like my lower a arm bushing is shot. Tail light lens, stock leaf springs, bolts on the stock skids, body bolt, rock lights. various fuses. ABS sensor on the rear pass side... not sure how i broke this. Mount for exhaust. Fan shroud, rear fender and bumper, front plastic bumper and turn signal. Stock suspension, killed a couple tires, seal on t-case, stock t-case skidplate, stock skids, there's more, 2 completly dented rims to the point where the tires came off while moving... that was fun , i've put 2 holes in the gas tank.. with my e-locker skidplate digital camera. tow strap, there's more... i just don't remember it.

Currently the trail spares i keep are: outer tie rods (1 ea. per side), various pieces of wire, hole patch kits. Whole CV axle. fuses.. other small things.

at home I have my old rack w/inner and outer tie rods (still usable if i toast the other one) a spare steel rim. + all the normal garage crap.

I'm just glad I haven't busted 1/2 the shit the other ppl have! *knocks on wood*

damn i guess i aint wheeling hard enough. i have broken some cheap ass selectro hubs, dented a cross member, ripped side mirror off and ripped my rear bumper off. i use my truck as a dd though so i try and be smart about it. but that dont mean i dont give it hell. if i cant get up something then ill keep trying it till something breaks, i make it up it or i know for a fact i cant do it. i need to get another vehicle cause i want to see what my truck is made of but still get to work the next day. im ready to join the roll over club. i have been close several times, but luckily i caught myself and backed back down.

still better than starting another one. Anyways, other than bent skids and shocks, all I've broken on the trail is an Idler Arm on my 87 pickup. Oh.. I almost forgot, I broke my front pass. frame horn off of my FJ40 on the trail after I lifted it. I had hit a guardrail at like 45mph and bent it all to hell,and a friend's dad welded on it. The stiff springs and flexing on the trail quickly ripped the shackle hangar and part of the frame off. Still drove it home though...lol

Update on my broken crap:
Best one to date:
4340 Longfield hub gear, which took out the outer hub gear, took splines off my 4130 axle shaft, at the same time the other side's outer hub gear grenaded.
I've grenaded stock birfs, bellfields, my chromo 27 spline Marlin birfs were clicking when I took them out... front HP 4.10 gears, bent a stock rear axleshaft, bent a stock t-case output, leafsprings, bent a front axle housing, grenaded a double roller bearing in my crawler because the PO didn't install it right. Broke some of the gears in my old MileMarker winch.

All with a 22rte that has a leaky turbo and 37's. :)
