Hey im rebuilding a stock toyota rear end out of my parts truck and i took it apart the other night and needless to say when i flipped it over i heard metal chunks rattling around. I took it apart and its not as bad as i thought but i deffinately need a new ring and pinion....What ? Where can i get them dirt cheap? any one out there have an extra set theyd be willing to part with???? I just want to rebuild this rear end so i can weld the spider gears together (its off my parts truck so i dont care :D) and so i can still have a good rear end lying around when it gets cold and icy out if i dont like it or when it breaks..... I know its hard on things especially tires but i have the stock 15x7's with old cheap tires on them i dont care about and to find stock tires are cheaper than my Cooper 33x12.5's im runnin in the mudd.....Any body have any good ideas??
