Visiting from over on the Marlin board

I live in Laramie, Wyoming, where I'm a grad student. I used to own a 91 regular cab (light mods), now I've got a 98 4Runner (stock). Like the title says, I usually hang out on the marlin board, but since I got the runner, I've needed to look further for my web-wheelin tech tips, so I lurk on YT and here.

Only mods so far ar a yellow-top optima, a steel battery tray to hold down said optima after it tried to commit suicide, American Racing mojave teflons, and 265/75/16 Nitto Terragrapplers.

In my recent quest for traction, I bought an ARB RD89 (no factory e-locker). Imagine my suprise when I open it up and find an old-school 8" V6 third. Aparently, I didn't do my homework and all runners up to 03 came whith the old-style third, while the tacoma, t100, and tundra (05-07?) got the 8.4 with the bearing cap girdles. Anyway, this thing is going up for sale, so I can get the RD132 and get back out on the trail soon.
