deckplate mod is way cheaper and based on public input performs just as well.
another mod that performs well is the Elbow Mod. not only is it cheap, its FREE. you can find info at http://www.gadgetonline.com/airinduction.htm which includes dyno tests as well as comparisons to various intake modifactions and intake systems like the FIPK.

I did the Elbow mod and Put a Ricer Intake on my truck. lol

Do the deck plate. It works really well and only costs 10 bucks for a 4" deck plate

I put on the K&N intake, then read about the deckplate the next day. Took the intake off and did the deckplate. Seemed like the same improvement to me so I returned the intake.

I read gadgets page, does anyone know if he did tests on any engines with no supercharges?? i dont have a supercharger on my truck and was curious if the test results were the same..thx for any info
