I belive 4 pinion lockers are spescific to particular v6 3rds. I run a lockright in my front diff and have nothing but the best to say about it. Aussie lockers are a good choice too. Both could be had in the $225-$250 range.

I have an Aussie in the rear and an ARB up front. I have no complaints about my Aussie, but you will need to make sure your shaft that goes through the spider gears is in good shape because there is a lot of play around that shaft and the locker. I did have some clearance issues, but a file took care of that. Aussie recommends a hardened shaft. For the money, Aussie is an excellent choice.:)

I'm not shure on the part #s but your right on with the ring gear sizes.

x2 on the ring gear sizes
7.5" = IFS front
8" = pickup/tacoma/4runner rears and SA fronts

the 4 pinion is for "V6" thirds (which were also used in 4 cyl 22RET trucks and runners), which have larger bearings and more ribbing on the cases. 2 pinion are for 4cyl 3rds.

IIRC you are correct on the part numbers.
