I'm going to be putting in a friends lift on his fj80. It's an OME kit so it's springs and just shocks. he also got a caster kit or something. I'm very familiar w/my tacoma and have done everything to it from gearing it to the lift kit but am just wondering if the landcruiser will be as easy.
Thanks guys,
jamie
The springs and shocks are easy, the caster correction is not as easy unless you have a press and know how to use it. You also need to understand how to install the caster correction, plus I understand it helps to make a jig to ensure you have the bolt holes correct. I ended up having the caster correction installed because it was cheaper then buying the press or having a shop just install the bushings.
Getting the caster correction makes a big different in how it drives. I drove it for several months without it though.
