It's cake. You need a 12 point 1/4" box end wrench. Pull diff cover, pull cross pin with 1/4" 12 point wrench. pull c-clip, take broken shaft out. Put new shaft in, c-clip on, crosspin back in, RTV diff cover, and fill diff. So you need basic tools, 1/4" 12 point wrench, RTV, and oil.

JeepGuy
11-07-2007, 06:28 PM
I'm spoiled with the 44's :D Mine were much easier to swap out. No stupid c-clip to deal with AND I don't have to fill the diff back up. I forgot how much those 35's suck  I now carry a slide hammer with me though, just in case for the rears. My front at AZ Rocks sure came out easy ;)

He better hope he starts collecting spare parts and bringing tools with him if he expects to run with most of the people in this club. I don't have a problem helping people fix their junk, but I do have a problem with people that show up with NO tools OR spare parts and then expect the group to loan them tools and parts and then expect them to fix it also b/c they never learned how to...that's BS!

Rule #1 - Be prepared when you go out wheelin. This includes bringing tool AND parts to repair those items that could break.

However, in cumandurs case, perhaps he should just tow out another Jeep with him!

The first 2 are Woody's Wash, next 2 are Highway to Hell, 5th pic is Axle Alley, Last is Bad Medicine. If I remember right you have 10" wide rims, so you could make the crack on Woody's and the rest, H2H would give you a little challenge, nothing you couldn't do, Axle Alley you'd have to winch the first fall just like everyother stock WB Jeep, but after that you'd walk it.

Thanks for the props too, definitely has changed alot since AZRocks.
