4runner fixed?

well me and a buddy worked on my 4runner today. The problem was that the efi fuse kept blowing, and every time I thought I fixed it, it would blow later while I was driving. Anyway, we just by passed that whole circuit, giving power to the computer and fuel pump with a fuse for each, with a relay thrown in. Only thing at this point that I haven't replaced or by passed is the computer.

Check engine light comes on when I mash down the gas, but then goes out when I let off. I kinda by passed some of the AFM stuff, and some other crap. But it runs good so as long as I don't blow another fuse I'll be good.

or throw that SA you have had sitting around, junk the 4Runner body and put this on your frame......

I'm eventually going to buy an older cheaper truck, and throw some crap on it from my 4runner. Been looking at pre 84 trucks on craigslist. Then sell whats left of my 4runner. But right now I'm pretty broke, so as long as it doesn't crap out again I'll just rock it like it is until I get another truck.

Oh yea, and when I turn the defroster on the motor dies:rolleyes: Had to get power for the relay from somewhere, guess it was the defroster. The rear defroster doesnt work anyway, and now I have an emergency cut off switch

Thats why I'm broke, been paying off the two I have. I just have one more to pay off and then I'll be looking for another truck.
