Thought this might help out for those of you looking for CB shops.
Here is a list of other shops in the Denver area that I have dealt with:
Summit Radio
7155 E 53 Pl
Commerce City, Colorado 80022 - 4828
Tel: (303) 287-3306
The best shop in the Denver area (IMO), good selection, fair prices and will usually repair your radio while you wait.
Camelot Communications Ltd
7590 Hwy 2
Commerce City, Colorado 80022 - 1650
Tel: (303) 289-3133
Good fair prices, but turn around time can be a few weeks, Have a huge selection of radios, new and used. they have just about every thing you might need
C B Shop & More
2752 SE Frontage Rd
Loveland, Colorado
Phone: (970) 663-7617
Others seem to like these guys, but i found they dont have a large selection and were rude to me when i when in to ck out the shop and get a replacement antenna.
Radio Service Center
918 S Sheridan Blvd
Denver, Colorado 80226 - 8032
Tel: (303) 922-8107
this shop has been around a long time. they are more in to business radios, but do deal in CBs, also have a long turnaround time due to there commercial coustomers and can be a bit pricey
S B S Electronics
6201 West 44 Avenue
Arvada, Colorado 80002
Tel: (303) 424-7032
Mostly car stereo stuff, don’t do repairs, just sales and installs, not much of a selection
Please don’t buy from a truck stop, their product is usually the same price or a little cheaper, but the quality is crap. Yes a lot of times it is the same brand name as the shops but do yourself a favor and save yourself the headache.
And last of all for those of you who seem to like Walcott CB. I drove over the road for several years and have done business with them. Trust me when I say don’t use them. I got ripped off by them. i had to have another shop fix my radio after they "Peak and tuned" it. And Iam not the only person that has had problems with them. try to deal locally with this kind of stuff, you get better costumer service and if there is a problem it can be fixed right away rather than waiting a few weeks to get it repaired.
If any one needs any help, or has questions just PM me I’m more than happy to help. I have a lot of knowledge of CB, I can install and usually can trouble shoot any problems you might have so when you go to a shop you know what is wrong and can have it properly fixed. Sam
