Model differences from year to year .

I am looking to buy a used taco . I want the 4x4 , but does not have to be a TRD . I would like to know the model differences from 1995-1997 or so . I only have about 10-13000 CANADIAN dollars to spend so I can't afford a newer one . THanks btw 10-13k in canadian dollars = $ 8000 - $10000 USD

there are 4 generations of tacomas, 4th gen= 05+ 3rd gen= 01-04 2nd gen=somewhere around 97-00, and 1st gen= 95-97ish

the diffence in most of these are the body, interior, most of the motors are the same except for the new tacomas.

'95.5 - '97 was the first body style.
'98 - '00 was the second gen.

cool thanks , Which models come with bucket seats ? if any . I would like to find a ext.cab do they have buckets up front ? Thanks
