putting a 9" in rear and hp 44 in front.. have to change end of rear drive shaft to the 9" end and wondering if i should go to a one piece or stay with a two... what (if any) advantages is there?

havent done it myself, but all ive seen went to 1 piece, less angle , strength , im sure is the reason

Better Breakover angle.
More clearance.

X2, a one piece has it's advantages on the pavement but teh 2 piece you can adjust the D/L angles easier too.

however what do you think would've happened to your one piece had you hit it that hard? Can you say front wheel drive?
I wouldn't run a one piece right now - too long in the ass. Once I swap the ass end is getting linked and is coming forward then I'll go one piece.
