Need a bed bar for my 2007 Taco to carry my Hi lift but not sure if I would have the skills to make one myself. Wanted to make it because wife and kid get most of the cash flow. Anyone know of any Tucson shops who are good that could do it for a good price?????

Try CrossedUp Offroad,Tuf Offroad,Ballistic Fabrication,or Trail Boss Offroad. That's the local ones I can think of right now.Any of those places can hook you up.

Strap it to the d-rings in the back of the bed. Enough space for EPDM straps and a long padlock. Or bolt it to one of the bed rails with some bolts and fender washers in the rail. Shiny Truck has had a 48" Hi Lift strapped to the d-rings for sometime now, never an issue. Best of all was the cost, two EPDM straps taking up space in the garage, free. Old padlock taking up space in the tool box, free.

I didn't want to use the sliding bed rails because I don't think it's strong enough. But straping it to the D rings sounds like a good idea for now, thanks. Now for a domb question, what is a EPDM Strap???

It's not a dumb question; Engineers often have to be reminded to speak english;)
