This is actually a good think - and I think I had linked to it a few weeks ago. You can't go driving around unless it is a designated trail.

Really it keeps the snowmowbilers and atvr's from driving all over the meadows... at least that is the intent...

that is the INTENT, but its sure to be exploited by the park rangers and such. Cascade creek for instance. its a road, that turns into a trail. there are forest service signs everywhere but none say "4x4 allowed" or anything along those lines. so i dunno. we'll see how it goes.

I can see this being good if:
A- Trails already have signs that say "4x4Aok"
B- There is also a bill that provides funding to add these signs

Are either of these the case?

All we can hope is that our past history as a club with being concerned about this is proven in the future as well. And frankly they might want to worry more about removing snopw from the highways than legislating the back country right now...
