2006 Regular Cab DD

Well, I just discovered this feature on TTORA, so I figured I'll try it out.

My truck stock:

This was the morning after I bought it. 2006 Regular Cab Prerunner SR5

After my first few CHEAP mods, since I had just bought a brand new truck.

I picked up a tool box for $30 at a yard sale, did the BHLM, removed the emblems and the mudflaps, and tinted the taillights.

The next step was to get some real tires:

The stock 245/75/16 Dunlops were absolute crap. These 265/75/16 Bridgstone Deulers A/T's were a huge improvement in the truck overall.

Of course after bigger tires, I had to lift it:

OME 885s on stock shocks and 2" blocks in the rear. Worst front suspension ever. No downtravel, and rode like a brick.

Then you know that after you lift it, you have to go offroad:

Then a few small things:

I wanted my truck to sound less stock.

Great improvement over stock. I was able to align it, it wasn't as stiff, and I got a small amount of downtravel.

I painted my stock grille black, because I'm not a fan of chrome:

And I painted the stock wheels bronze, which made them less ugly.

Put a solid window in it, because the slider was gay:

Dropped it off at the body shop and got it all back to stock:

And finally I decided to get some real suspension under the front of my truck:

Allied spindles and Bilstein shocks with the stock springs. BEST money I've spent yet.

Front suspension - TC UCAs, Bilstein 5100s, Allied spindles, removed swaybar
Rear suspension - TSB leafpack, Bilstein 5100s
Tires - Bridgestone Deuler A/Ts in 265/75/16
Visual mods - Tinted solid rear window, tinted tailights, BHLM, removed badges, DMZ spare tire mount, bronzed stock wheels
Performance - Deckplate mod, URD shortshifter, Magnaflow muffler
