What's wrong with 8 lug? You only planning on upgrading the rear?

Cool!........ I don't really see the point of staying 6 lug, but it's always nice to have options!:kewl:

If the front is already upgraded and still 6/5 lug to match the rear now you wanna upgrade the rear? WTF? not everyone can afford to do stuff all at once..... I'll keep my 6 lug 60's I know 14b's are cheap but you gotta run 4d's just to keep from draggin every rock in teh frickin desert, and that's after you shave it.
Anyone got a set of 9"r's their givin away? ;)

What if you do everything ass-backwards like me and upgrade the rear to a 1 ton first??? :neener:
....... It's nice to have options, but I like having the 8 lugs....... I can break 4 of the studs before I have to worry about loosing a wheel on the trail (as I've demonstarted once already when it was 6 lug! )

Only you could break that many lug studs off on the trail....
I wouldn't consider a rear upgrade first assbackwards, the rears are cheaper and they do most of the work so that makes sense to me.
you can get a semifloat 9.5" 14 bolt from teh factory....:p

Well, I technically upgraded the front first when I swapped the truck!
...... I got tired of bent flanges, sheered lugs, leaky diff's and blown ring and pinions so I went for the beef and built the ff 14 bolt for the rear....... the front will get a 60 (8 lug :D ) eventually when funds are available....... until then I'll continue to find new ways to push the limits of the 44 and find out if I have a weaker link than the crosspin in the locker! :shiner:

I bet converting a front 6 lug into a front 8 lug is cheaper than converting a 14 bolt to 6 lug. And yes, if you have 60's already, keep whatch-ya got.

DO NOT USE THOSE HUBS! A friend(which some of you may know that drive a red TJ) bought those hubs cause he already had a 5 on 5.5 Dynatrac ProRock 60. Nothing but problems with them. They took I believe 6-7 weeks to ship despite the fact they had the parts "in stock". I believe they were $1500-$1700 or something like that. He had to grind part of the hubs, the snap ring groove for the bearing race in the hub was too far in and the snap ring would not seat, he had some problem bolting the rotor onto the back of the hub. Basically he spent over $2000 when all was said and done(they sent incorrect bearings and no snap rings, blah blah blah) and said that when he buys new rims, he's going to get 8-lug, put the stock hubs back on his 14, and buy 8-lug front 60 outers.
