So it was thrown out to me last night a set of axles at a good price. Almost too good to be true price. Im wondering if its possible to go with fzj axles (IMO full width) and still drive my truck as a daily pretty much. I dont drive it all the time but more then i drive the bimmer. I plan on lowering my truck some to go with the axles so that will help....My question is how would this be different then just a normal SAS on my truck. Im going to be doing a leaf swap and it will get gears going together so my thoughts are it will be better but get messy easier. anyone rockin a full width daily.

A 80 axle in the back will work if move the gas tank. The differential in the rear is a passenger offset. As for the front, Slee Off Road sells the high steer arms (they might not be in full production yet though). OTT also sells high steer arms but they arer very hard to get.
I used a 80 front in one of my past trucks, it was 4" narrower then my T100 rear but that was fixed with wheel spacers. The larger birs were sweet. I never used that truck as a DD, it was too extream.

ok is the 80 rear an 8.8 like the t100/tundra? If this deal is for real i will get the axles no questions. With the offset rear id like to use the locker in a normal axle rather then screw with my gas tank right now.

I thought the 80 series rear was like 9" or 9-3/8" ...
Is the front a HP elocker?
If so, I would DEFINiTELY pick them up, as that's the axle you need.

It will cost quite a bit more to SAS with FJ80 axles over the 8" mini truck axles. The steering arms alone for the Fj axle is $$$. Gears and lockers (unless they are e-lockers) cost alot more. There will be a ton of brackets to cut off the front axle since they used coils on the FJ80s. I'd personally run diamonds over the FJ80 stuff if you need the full width.

From what i was told its a high pin front elocked and a elocked rear. I was thinking buy them and swap the elocker for the rear in to a t100 axle housing so i dont have to mess with the tank. I have to go out and look at them monday and if they are what hes telling me they are i will be bringing them home.
I wouldnt mind grinding and prepping them to make it all work right. Its not too bad. My only fear is the rear wont swap over to a t100/tundra rear or this is some sick twisted joke.

Not sure if the thirds are the same, but I bet it's just as cheap to buy the whole deal just for the thirds, might be able to sell the housing to make a downpayment on a Diamond housing if you need to...

Not 100% positive, but I think thats the 100 series. Fairly sure the rear on 80's was 8.875 or something like that.

Well, bigger than a "normal" Toyota diff anyways, right?

Ok so im bringing this back up because the axles my buddy was telling me about was bunk. I went on a hunt and found out a few pieces of info on the FZJ80 front.
3 different types
1 is high pin non elocked non abs(no high steer available)$800-1000
2 Highpin non elocked with ABS (high steer available) $1000-1200
3 highpin elocked with abs (high steer available)$1500
So after some more hunting around being mad about the prices and all the stupid info i was on a hunt for a D44/14FF set up and found an FZJ80 front no 3rd and was not even looking(sucks but i can deal) im waiting on an email back if it has ABS or not and what comes with it cause the price is unbelievable! He has the rear but knowing id have to move the gas tank im going to pass on it but the locker would be nice. Irbus offroad said i can use my elocker 3rd in the t100 rear axle?
My question is where am i going to find an elocker in high pin for that axle? Even just high pin non elocked and i will just sell my full rearend and go ARB's and non elocked 3rds(stronger anyways im told)
This is going to be a slow build but im all about full width and finishing my truck up for this year. I got my canback supports from a buddy we just need to remove a foot now cause its bobbed and got some metal from nate(thanks again...remember tire carrier!) After this week of side work i should have enough cash to paint my truck and start on the front bumper and get a front axle but the rear will have to wait.

Your elocker won't fit in a T100 axle to my knowledge. I think the T100 is the "8.4" diff like a non-elocked Taco.
Having wheeled with a f/r elocked 80 series, I would look into an ARB for the front. Elocker seemed to take FOREVER and he had to back up a lot to unlock.
