i have a 02 with a 3 inch fabtech c/o lift but i want to get it up a little more. i do moderate wheeling. is a body lift adviseable? and if so what size should i get? and what brand? will i be ok with this setup on the trail if im very careful? unfortunately, this is all my budget is going to allow me to do so don't tell me to just sas my taco as this is impossible. thanks!!!!
SEARCH!! on the main board - tons of talk on this. Some think that BL are the devil and some of us don't. If you put a good one one (Roger Brown)
don't go more than 2", and tighten things up after every couple of runs you'll be fine.

Actually I am the devil:xdevil: But imo small body lifts are ok if done with a good quality kit. As TBob said Roger Brown is a good one, no more than 2" maximum and always check all your bolts once a month. :2cents:

Because of the former 3" devil I had, I now sport a permanant 1/4" steel plate body lift welded to the bottom of my cab. Like everything else with our trucks, each responds differently to the modifications.

No, Nate hadn't appeared on the forum yet. BentCreations Josh actually helped me out and we used some 1/4" plate scraps he had. Made some cardboard templates. Traced those onto the steel. Plasma'd them out. Prettied them up with the angle grinder. Drilled a bolt hole for each and then they got welded in. Been good thus far.
