The bumper was made by Hanson Enterprises (http://www.hansonenterprise.com) as a prototype. Don't believe they ever put them into production.
edit: yes, it is in production... check out this post: http://www.tacomaterritory.com/forum/showpost.php?p=93551&postcount=24

Just to add... The Trails Less Traveled site confirms it too in their article about the Cheap Paint job. Almost at the end of the page.

It's an awesome high-clearance bumper. I would definitely do something to protect the radiator though. I watched a buddy of mine kill his radiator with a big pointy rock in the same place those pics were taken (Hollister Hills SVRA).

Sorry, I missed this thread. Thanks for helping to answer questions about it mountainpete. Wayne Hanson custom-made that bumper for me just before we took the truck to exhibit at SEMA two years ago. They always planned to put it into production, but it's taken a little longer than they thought it would. We haven't published anything about it because I wanted to wait until it was available before we started promoting it. Let him know you want one. It'll light a fire.
Oh, and that radiator is a JOKE. I ordered a replacement radiator and they shipped me the wrong one. It hung down about 2" lower than my stock radiator and it hit everything on the trail. I don't think Hanson planned to incorporate any type of radiator protection into his bumper though.
We've since removed that bumper from the Tacoma (http://www.trailslesstraveled.com/vehicles/2/) and put it onto the 4Runner (http://www.trailslesstraveled.com/vehicles/19/). We're building a bumper-to-bumper rollcage (http://www.trailslesstraveled.com/news.php?id=46) for the Tacoma right now and we're building a lightweight, tubular bumper that ties into the engine-cage.

Yeah, I've got lots more pictures. I just added some more pictures to the Tacoma Rollcage Progress (http://www.trailslesstraveled.com/news.php?id=46) news article on our website and I added some of those pictures to the roll cage ideas (http://www.tacomaterritory.com/forum/showthread.php?t=10360&page=3) thread this morning. We'll eventually publish a full article (or two) about the design and fabrication. I guess I could start a thread with links to all the images and updates.

Hey Jesse, Would you guys have any interest in a new dash? I've got the stock one from my 97 that's in pretty good shape, That way you could do all of the fitting work on that one, and just do the final install with the one i have. I'll sell it pretty cheap, cause i want the damn thing out of my house.

Oh. Great timing. I wasn't going to look for another dash to replace this one with for a few months, but I wouldn't pass one up either. Where are you locate? I could probably come pick it up sometime soon.

Humm. Mine is grey. I haven't had very good luck painting interior trim pieces, but for something like this, it might be worth a shot. Maybe I could swing over to Palo Alto one afternoon next week to pick that up. I'll take it to PM's from here. Thanks.

that thing looks real nice. would it stand up to winching without tearing up the frame or the bumper? i just sent them an email and hopefully i will get an idea what they will sell them for. been looking to get a better bumper but dont like the tube types usualy cuz they kinda clash with the lines of the truck.

That's funny, but I was actually thinking about how I might be able to glue the dash together and cover it if I have to cut it apart to put it in. I haven't tried to reinstall it since I finished crossbracing the doors.
