Elvis & Upper Woodpecker Run 2/23/08

Ran Elvis and Upper Woodpeck yesterday. 2 1st gen 4runner, a lone jeep wrangler, SA Toyota Tacoma, 03 Double Cab Tacoma and 4 3rd gen 4runner. The black 1st gen broke his front axle (? loud pop) and had to be winched out of it's location but ran the rest of trail prerunner style :great: . Other stuck of the day was a double cab Tacoma got hung up on a cross member.

Yes, a stock 1st gen and 3rd gen 4runner made it though Elvis (I took a bypass or two. Didn't want to chance losing a bumper and the 1st gen didn't take any bypasses and ran Upper woodpecker as well. I didn't)
Dented my gas tank again on the way out didn't see a rock. :bang: :bang:

I was thinking the same thing. With the correct line through there, even T-Bewber made it look easy (after of course we let him flounder a bit, LOL).

Actually, that black tacoma was the only one that needed a winch. He took the wrong line and got caught up pretty bad on his crosmember. Two different trucks tried tugging him back with no success. We tried winching him up with one truck and still no success. We finally anchored to another truck to get him off his crossmember.
