On my '98 Tacoma Limited TRD I can roll the electric windows up and down after I take the keys out of the ignition (until I open the door). A cool feature that some people probably don't know they have. Most american semi luxo-trucks have this feature today, and others have added similar driver comforts, but Toyota was putting this in their Tacoma's (a base line model) way back in '98!!! To me this speaks volumes about the vehicle engineering and quality Toyota brings to the table.

You know I've never tried it so I don't know if my truck does that. I'll have to give it a try tomorrow morning!

I don't know if you're serious or not.. but I'm sure you could find the relay that controls the windows staying on (until you open the door, or 60 seconds), and splice that into the wire for your stereo.

It's not worth the effort.

I can live without it.
