The TN chapter had their annual Summertown run this past weekend (April 29th - May 1st), and luckily I got to tag along. The weather wasn't exactly stellar, but the wheeling and good company more than made up for it. We had 8 rigs (mostly Tacomas, 2 4Runners and an '86 Toy), from near stock to SAS'd to 4-linked rears, and we practically had the park to ourselves on Saturday. :D Minor carnage occurred in the form of three blown tires between two different rigs, a busted rear side window (4Runner), and various dings and dents. But nothing too severe. All I know is I wheeled, learned, drooled, and laughed a lot all weekend long. Thanks to everyone who was there for helping to make it such a great weekend.

hector, you don't have to wait until next year. The TN guys have rides regularly. Get in touch with tenntaco or duby08 to find out more about upcoming rides.

Thanks to everybody who came out. I had a great time this weekend. It was nice to meet some new people as well as see some familiar faces. Even though the weather was less than perfect, the wheeling was amazing. I must say, it was nice to ride with a group of guys who didn't BS and cry about their rigs all day. Too bad none of us remembered to buy The Tunnel thongs :D

The only thing bad I have to say is: Firestone Destination MT's can suck it :explode:

I had a blast. It was fun going with a group who didn't care about a few dings and dents. I will be looking forward to the next run.

Keep track with the Tennessee board. We should be posting some events for the coming months in the next week or so.

Yeah, there was definitely no shortage of pics. Anthony had some really good shots. I realized as I was going thru mine that I didn't get many shots from the rear. So that means we have to go back soon so I can get those too. :D

If I had to guess I'd say it probably looked like he tried to kick a 4500lb truck off of himself :D . I really hope his leg wasn't hurt, I could give a damn about the truck. Next time I will make him get off the truck :) . Better yet I'll get a sticker made that says " Not a Toy, Only Ride on Rock-Sliders in Desperate Situations, The Driver of This Truck has Been known to Crush People!" I had a blast and can't wait for the next run.

PS I'll get some of my pics up latter this evening, I've got to finish my long ass Cal III final.

Well.... I guess it worked awesome. I need to adjust a few things, like the bump stops came out a little to short. I've got a picture of it at full stuff, and Damn  , I was looking over the truck when I got home and realized that the tires stuff so far that they actually dented in the fender wells. I also need to cut out the fender wells a little, but other than that all I need to do is get the old spring perches cut off. Hopefully you can go with us on the next trip.

BooHoo My truck got dirty :D Oh Darn.. Just thought I would throw that out there. Yeah Mark and I had a great time wheelin with you guys. A great group to ride with. Definitly want to get together and ride more often. Ty was so hard core he got body damage and didn't even wheel his truck. Well anyways to add to the pics these are the ones my wife took.

lol We've just had bad luck there lately with the rain. It was actually nice because it gets rid of all the dust. The railbuggies are really bad about tearing around and making clouds of dust.
