Anyone know if the proposed glade reservoir on the poudre river will affect trailheads up there? If 287 is going to be moved then I think access to trails up there would be suspended for awhile. Theres alot of people against this whole project.

• It would be built between the ridges of the hogback directly north of Ted’s Place, on Highway 287. About six miles of new highway would have to be constructed east of the hogback, to reroute the section of Highway 287 that would be flooded by the dam.

the proposal for Glade will not effect the trails directly... you will have access to Poudre canyon via Stove Prairie and Rist Canyon at least...Hwy 14 however should not be effected by the 287 realignments I've seen proposed.

The money and the water to make the project happen don't exist...so it is a good while before any plans go forward!
