Here's my pics from the week/weekend. Ran Upper Ajax on Wednesday night, Chandler broke a front CV and wheeled in 3wd the rest of the time without much trouble. Thursday ran Axle Alley with TBob who broke a front CV on the fall and made short work of the rest of the trail. Carlos broke his rear t-case output on the last fall. Jake(Toybox) then towed Carlos out and broke his rear diff. Ran Exstacy on the way back to camp. Carlos and Jake headed back to their shop and fixed their rigs for more wheeling. Ran Lower Woodpecker and Upper Woodpecker Thursday night without problems. Friday ran Lower Woodpecker and O'Day(Large Black and Silver portal buggy) has some wiring issues, then Bernie(Red TJ) flopped. Lots of time between those 2 things and then we hit Woody's Wash. Friday night ran Upper Ajax again. I have a wiring/charging issue sometime in the middle of the trail. Bernie broke a motor mount and took out his front driveshaft. Trail repaired his motor mount as best he could and replaced the front driveshaft and we got back to camp at ~3:45am. Saturday left my rig in camp cause I felt like riding along rather than troubleshoot electrical all day. Hit Woody's Wash and Cruiser Jim fell in the notch, pulled plugs and got it running(turned out it was the starter as we found out later), then O'Day flopped on the second obstacle, spent some time there. Then bypassed running Highway to Hell cause of the traffic jam and went to Axle Alley which resulted in Derek(Black TJ) plugging a tire along the way. O'Day was having issues with the front cable locker and couldn't make the fall, Kyle(White TJ) made the fall with Bernie and Steve(Black YJ), Nate(White TJ with red cage) winched, and Derek broke his driver's side upper link mount off the axle. O'Day and Derek went back out and we ran the rest of the trail without problems and met back up with Derek and O'Day and headed back to camp. Good times. Awesome meeting the New Mexico guys who definitely were ready to rock :headbang: Looking forward to seeing everyones pics from other runs(especially a certain video from OD of Simple Green that I heard about).

I was there and wished I made it over to your guys camp or even on the trail with everyone. I was there with some buddies and we did axle alley and X friday night and into the evening. We got up bright and early for the H2H extraction and thus spent all day working. We did have the trail pretty much land locked for a good 8+hours. Glad to see a huge turnout and toys everywhere out there!

That's a nice looking rig you have (what I saw of it!)....... I didn't get a chance to walk up the trail to meet you and check it out.

yeah man thanks! Same here, as you know we where pretty busy that day. I ended up using my truck for a winch point so don(red tube thing) could winch off of me to drag that xj up the falls. We had a pretty good system going....
always next time. I want to get a few more weekend trips in before it gets hot.

For sure!......... I just need to get a new rear shaft made and I'll be rolling again soon. Sorry we weren't more help when we caught up to you guys, but like you said you had a good system going and everything under control........I on the other hand was busy breaking drivelines like toothpicks!

not a problem. we had originally thought we would cut it up thus needed extra hands and rigs to haul it out. We hauled several sawsals and a generator back there but ended up changing our game plan.
keep me posted on the next time you head out, Ill make a point to make it over there
we heard down the road there was hell to pay for your driveshafts all friggen day!
