On Saturday I found a tool box on the trail that leads to Martinez. This tool box was found at the little waterfall right where Carlos and the rest passed us. Describe the tool box and its contents, and we will figure out how to get it back to you. Someone is missing thier tools!

Rex,

I think those are my tools!! Yellow and black plastic Stanley toolbox. Contents were powerbuilt sockets and ratchets, hub sockets, an inch pounds torque wrench (I believe in its red plastic case), my ft lbs wrench, hub flange kit, 3 pairs of long needle nose pliers, various wrenches, my BFG with orange handle and maybe even my SFH with pink handle (thats right PINK!!!) .

If thats them, tell me what kind of beer you drink cuz I owe you some. Although its not many tools... its all the tools I own! You can shoot me an email at shane_clays@yahoo.com or call me at 602-312-9384 and I will make arrangements to trade you my tools for your cold beers.

And, big huge thanks to you (Rex) Tbob, rockbronco, Scott and Dustin for lookin out!!

Shane,

I'm glad to have found the winner! My wife and I travel quite a bit and are on our way to Logandale NV tomorrow, We're in Laughlin tonight. The next time we will be in Arizona will be for the Pima County Fair in Tucson from the 17th to the 27th of April. I hate to make you drive that far just to get your tools but I dont know how else to get them to you. We will be in the BRIGHT RED Face Painting trailer at the fair. Contact me there and I'll get them to you. The tools are locked up right now so you wont need to worry about them.

Excellent. Thanks again Rex. I am not so worried about when I get them now that I know I will get them back!! When is the next time you think you will be in Prescott? I wouldnt mind headin that way to pick them up and grab a bite downtown there, even if its after your Tucson trip... whatever works best for you, but if you arent opposed to holdin em until you are back in Prescott, that should work for me (unless its going to be July or something!!!).

Whew. What a freakin relief... I was not looking forward to replacing all those tools!!

Not July....................How about October 10th? We are on the road about 8 months a year and after the Tucson event we are off to the North/Central part of California. Can you have someone pick up the tools in Tucson for you? Do you have any other ideas?

I am in North Phoenix.... Tucson will work just fine!! I hear there are some fun trails down there so maybe I will make a weekend trip out of it! Unless you say otherwise, I will plan on meeting you in Tucson at the Pima County Fair on April 26th.

Since karma kind of worked in my favor Sunday afternoon, if you guys want to work out a shipping plan to a business (ship it to my shop and save a few bucks on UPS Ground), figure it out and let me know. I can deliver the toolbox one evening after delivery. Might be cheaper than fuel costs to Tucson.

Or just get new ones :D My rig only gets about 12 to the gallon to so....

Its up to Rex. I dont want to inconvienence him any more than I already have.... if its just as easy to box em and ship em, I can paypal or send a money order.
