I have ruined my 8th set of rims. Both front tires will not hold pressure for longer than a day, and will lose 15 lbs in 6 days.

However, I am not going to buy new rims until I see what sizes the BFG KM2's come out in.

Thus, I am looking for a set of 15" rims ASAP.

I will consider any, but am really looking for a set of 15x7's.

Stock would be sweet, but whatever you've got, let me know.

Question for those running stock BS rims: Do you have issues with lots of hub damage in the front? My current rims are back spaced enough that the hub sits inside the tire, and is protected. I'm worried about rubbing the hubs and ruining them. Is that a problem for people, or am I just being paranoid.

Thanks!

Ike out of curiosity how do you keep ruining your rims? Avs I've got the stock 16" rims off my 08 I'd let go for cheap. Wayne over at Performance tire told me he'd give me $60 for them but it would cost me $30 in gas just to take them down there lol

Here's what the rims looked like when they were still on the truck.

Because he's running 9.5" wide tires on 8" rims - I had the same problem when I had the TSL's.

Speaking of which, I have them here if you want them Isaac.

I'm ruining rims for the same reason that troy said, and because i used to run an 8" rim with a 235/75. One year i ruined 4 sets. After the jump to 33x12.50's, it got better, but those tires sucked. Now back to the 9.50's, and the problem is back.

Sorry, can't use 16's right now. I've got tires with great tread, and zero market for them, so I'm not looking to get rid of the tires for a while.

Troy, you have the TSL's or wheels? I saw those wheels you have for sale, but you could get a better deal from someone else. I'm not looking to pay that much right now. Just want a carry over until winter.

I just went from a 31x10.5 to a 33x9.5, and it is amazing how much abuse my wheels have taken in the 4 runs i have been on. The tires work great though, so it think i am just going to invest in some extral wheels when they go up for sale.

I think I've got a set of wheels lined up, supposed to be stock, so we'll see. I'm told they look like this:

I wonder if a set of stock FJ60 wheels would work? 15x6 would probably fit nicely with 9.5" tires, although the backspacing might not work.

Do you have a set?

I'd be interested in taking a look.

I've got a set of those stock 15x7 aluminums I'd let go for $50. I don't have the lugs though. They're not pretty, but they work fine.

Not I. Just thinking of other options if those old 4Runner wheels don't work out.

Ah.. ok, well I'm hoping for a little more with the rubber on them. I really haven't priced them to see what I should ask but I'm sure it wouldn't be alot more. seems like others are trying to get rid of them too.. good luck.

Isaac,

Daves brother was looking to give away the two piece rims that came on the troopy he got imported. if you would like to make your rig a death trap that is.:)

I got a set of rims identical to troy's today. They were free.

I'm actually really glad about getting them, besides the free part.

I currently have a small back spaced wheel. I love the protection that the hub has, but not wild about the turn arc.

These are a much larger backspace. So, I'll get to figure out what I like best, and pick something that will work best for me when I get something fancy this winter or next spring.
