Summer is finally here, and the trails are opened up. While we lost many routes in the Eldo, I still want to head out and do some wheeling!

Where: Eagle Lakes Day/Evening Time; Signal Peak at night!
When: July 16-17
What time?: TDB

A background on the trails:

Eagle Lakes
Is a relatively easy trail with a bypass on the technical section. A rig with a 3" lift and sliders should have no problem with this trail.

Signal Peak (Night Run)
This year we will not get lost. We will head up from Eagle lakes to the top of Signal Peak at night for a breathtaking view. Relatively easy trail, however, Rocklights are highly recommended as we will doing this run in the pitch dark.

So who's in with me? Lets start this year off right! If you've never been to a NorCal run, don't worry about a thing, we won't bite :p

Oh there it is.

I've got a couple of questions
First, how the hell did that happen?

Second, I found a used 2wd w59 transmission for $200 (being a full time student this is within my budget, barely). now Im 99% sure that I can swap the transfer adaptor from my transmission onto the 2wd transmission.

Has anyone successfully done this before?

Also does anyone know if the 4wd drive train will bolt up to the 2wd transmission? If so, I was thinking this would be the perfect time to rebuild the transfer case.

Or is there anyone in central california with a 4wd W59 they'd be willing to part with for under $300?

I was looking at getting an 05+ tacoma and still am not decided on v6 or 4 banger. I hate the electronic 4wd crap like everyone else and was wondering what transmission the newer 2.7's had behind them. Is it the W59 like the older tacomas. If it is, will a manual shift transfer case from an 04 and down bolt up behind it? If its not will a W59 transmission bolt up to an 05+ 2.7? Just looking at ways of getting rid of the switch on the dash and not go with dual cases. Toyota should have kept the faithful manual shift lever. Thanks, and I have searched for a while now.

Alright alright, sooooo for a couple of years now I have been collecting vinyl banners for a man cave. I had a friend in Mississippi with a print shop and he made a bunch of these but others where purchased. I moved back to Florida and they have been sitting in my closet. I have ALOT of them. They range in size 2'X4' all the way up to two car lengths long. Perfect for hanging in your garage or man room on the walls or draped on the ceiling. So here goes:

Blow up props –
TG Lee milk jug: $5.00
Vodka Bottle: $5.00
Volcon Stones (3) : $10.00
