Hey there, I saw your rig and I like what you have done with it. I saw you had lights behind the grill. Do you have a write up on how you did that or any links to someone's write up. Also, I am very curious about the 2-LO mod any info on that would be awesome. I do have the 4wd button on my stick. I saw you said that in one of your messages. Thanx

It works great! The 2-LO mod is super easy to do on the older Tacoma w/ pushbutton on the stick 4wd. Just un-clip the one clip as shown here: http://www.wattora.com/index.php?page_id=19

Keep in mind that 2-hi to 4-hi can be engaged at speed, but when the truck is in 2-lo it is best to stop before you engage it into 4-lo.

My front differential always makes a clunk after disengaging the 4wd. To solve that problem I disengage the 4wd while coasting uphill. Stop and shift from 4-lo to 4-hi (if your in 4-lo). Get some speed up, push the clutch in and un-click the 4wd button while coasting uphill. I have gone from 4-lo to 2-lo (or 4-hi to 2-hi) while the truck is stopped, but it does make a slight clunk. Hope this helps!
