I have been through a lot of different fuel cans and in my opinion the regular nato cans are the best! I have 8 new old stock cans, even with the old gaskets they don't leak, Upright on their sides or laying flat even in summer when they expand from the heat. They used to be cheap and available but now your federal and state overlords wouldn't want you to leak a few hydrocarbons into the atmosphere ! So go get yourself a couple shitty plastic cans with the carb approved nozzles that leak worse than anything a 3rd grader could put together, and say thank you.

Totally agree. The fucking CARB cans leak more gas trying to figure out how to use the spout then a normal old can. Obviously the jackasses engineering these spouts have never actually used them. Unfortunately, I live in California and it is hard to get normal cans. Places won't ship standard NATO cans to Cali and some other states.
But, if you can get these shipped to your state, or get creative , these are decent: http://www.cheaperthandirt.com/ZBQ1412-1.html
I might have obtained a few (please don't tell Al Gore)
Gotta get the NATO Cans though, not the "NATO Style", which are crap.
For good used Scepter cans call up www.supplycaptain.com they have both gas and diesel cans available. Reasonable price and you can also get new cap gaskets to go with them.
TacoDell, love the setup for holding the cans. Will look for something like that to fit in my hitch.
