I'm going to try. Lewis (Killer Red Taco) is getting married the weekend before and I kinda have to be there being best man and all, but I'll see if he can get his balls for a weekend and we'll try and head out
Right on Chris, my Mojave Road trips are epic!!! We usually have quite a few guys come down from NorCal every year!! Hope you can make it!! :xpimp: :xrocker: :driving: :woot: :woot: :xbeer3: :xbeer2:
I'm here! I'm here! Finally I can post on this site. Hey Robert, I think by having this the official thread, you can pull more people onto this site. I heard of this site and a couple of the 120 guys are on here, but I never really checked it out. heh heh.
Anyhow, bringing my question from the other forum to here. How deep is the water crossing? Worst case scenario... The water is uber high due to some flash flood or whatever. Can I somehow sneak around to the other side without getting my tires wet? Yes Yes!!! I am a chicken sh!t. If it was local, I wouldn't mind smashing around, but so far from home, I become very hesitant with a lot of things.
Yeah Vinh, there is a water crossing on the last day. You'll have no problems at all!!! I've taken many stock trucks through there over the years, no worries.
Woody's problem last year, was that he didn't either hear me or didn't pay attention when I radioed back to let everyone know Not to go fast through the water that day, as the water was deeper that day than usual!! Of course......we all know what happened there!!!
Anyway, don't be afraid Grasshopper..........you'll be just fine!!!!! Besides, your air box is higher than ours anyway!!!
So we need to have our own portable bathroom thingy? Ooooh. That'll give me a reason to pick up that pop up changing room shower bathroom thing thingy.
Need to know who, if anyone......is going to go on this trip!!! We usually have upwards of 20 trucks for this Easter trip, and so far...........
If I don't get seven trucks, I don't need to spend the $$ and time to get the NPS special use permits!!
But need to know about how many trucks soon, so I have time to get through the permiting process and get my permits in time for the trip!!!
Please let me know soon.....and the same for everyone else as well!!!
I can't be too much longer waiting to know whether or not to send in for the NPS permit!!!
This is the first Easter trip ever, that we have no one apparently going!!!! :dunno: :dunno: :banghead:

I don't know whether to go through the permit process or not at this point!!!
Don't need one for six trucks, but do for seven or more..........
It's getting close to the point of no return of getting it or not.......in time that is.....
At that point, I'll cap the run to only the first seven trucks period, can probably squeak seven by........but certainly no more than that, not like the usual 14-20 trucks that usually go on this trip!!!
That's cool though, as that many trucks is a pain in my ass anyway!!! :lmao::rofl:
I'd rather not piss off the rangers!!! We go twice a year, and they know that by now.
When dealing with the Feds, believe me, it's better to be permitted than not!!!
