Tundra brake swap question
To the guys who've done the tundra swap would it be worth it to order some aftermarket pads and rotors from a quality company like ebc or equivalent? I know that the larger surface area of the rotor and bigger calipers play a large part. Just sorta wondered if the extra clamping force might start to exceed the limitations of the stock master cylinder.

might not hurt, but i run oem rotors and napa premium pads, never had an issue. i have a 1" bore master cyl which helps

Is the 1" master cylinder larger than stock? I haven't replaced anything on the truck yet other than the pads up front. Going to order some brake lines from wheelers this week. My brakes got really spongy yesterday.

mine was stock, 99 3.4l 4wd, mine is clearly marked with a 1 on the side of it.

Just go to your local parts store and get the OE calipers and rotors. The stock MC will work fine. Just keep an eye on the level.

if you have to buy new pads and rotors, mind as well upgrade. basic and proven combo is hawk pads and brembo plain rotors.
