stuff like that happens up here at silver lake.......I feel sorry for the family's loss......a little less if alcohol was involved as the authority's suspect

Kinda eerie - a lady died in an ATV crash out here a couple weekends ago. No helmet.

as with all inherently dangerous activities...some people have no bussiness participating. hope they don't start a 4-wheeler witch hunt again, like they did in the eighties.

I have seen people hurt at wellsville before...
it happens... even without alcohol... hillsville had someone die almost every year it seemed... alcohol was usually involved... being in the CRA, I have seen races stopped due to injurys... one time in a harescramble... I saw a dude wreck bad... I stopped (only one out of about 5 the pack I was pacing) the dude couldn't move... nothing I could do there, so I finished the lap (about another 2 miles) and told the people at the gates... who told the medical people who took quads back to the dude... I never herd what happened but it must have been bad if he couldn't move....
