2005 – 2007 Tacoma owners with Helo Maxx 6/8 wheels
To all 2005 – 2007 Tacoma owners with Helo Maxx 6/8 wheels. What type of lug nuts did you use? ( brand, type of seat, ect. ) I was told I needed to use ET lugs so that they would thread on more than 6 or 7 turns. Also has anyone used the tuner style lugs, if so what are your opinions on them.

Contact the shop that sold you the wheels or the manufacturer. A reputable tire/wheel shop should know. What I remember ET lugs go deeper in the wheel, but the wheel has to be made to accept that style lug.

I just use the factory lug nuts. I've had the rims for about 8 months and no problems.
