Default Rowher Flats in July

VOTE in the poll and tell us how you would like to schedule the July run to Rowher Flats.

So the Rowher Flats run in July is scheduled for July 17th and I am the one that is supposed to lead this run. I have a conflict on that date now, so I can't lead the run on that date. I can lead a run on July 10 or July 24. My preference would be for July 10. Let me know if you want to change the date and to which day. I'll leave this poll open until Friday and make a decision then.

I can't do the 10th or 17th. The 24th would work. I'll have 50 hats I need to get rid of. The up front cost came out of pocket.

Damn. I was just reading about this trail the other night. It looks really cool! Unfortunately, I'm taking my motorcycle classes that weekend. If you do it the 24th, I'll definitely be there!!

edit:
Just found out my sister's birthday bash is on the 24th. So, nevermind.

I'll be able to go if the run's on the 24th. I've been wanting to head up there anyway, it would be more fun with more people.

That'd be up to whomever is leading you, but just FYI for anyone: Rowher Flats has been partially tamed as part of the restoration after the fire. The harder bypasses around the big climb from the reservoir are gone and just a few of the optional obstacles after that are there. It is still fun , medium’sh maybe, and close for most. Well worth the trip for a nice day.

They did a great job getting it back from the fire. It was very green in the spring this year!

I've decided to cancel the trip to Rowher Flats for July. It looks like I'll be taking some last minute trips to Big Bear to for Takeover prep, so this run would just be too much all at once. I might reschedule the run for later in the year.

Default twice this month....

I went up twice this, just last weekend in fact. I did it in 2wd the whole time, even going down the Rowher "jeep" trail where it gets steep. Definitely fun day run. Pm me if anyone wants to meet up there ever.
