Rattlesnake Canyon/Motinno Wash

DUE TO THE WEATHER THIS RUN HAS NOW BEEN CHANGED TO COUGAR BUTTES BULLFROG TRAIL.

MEET TIME - 0930 AM
LOCATION - AMPM 16081 Bear Valley Road, Hesperia, CA

Myself and Jason (j-money$$$) are planning on running MW next week during the week (21st-25th). Any day works for us (school is out, and have no other obligations), so chime in what dates work for you if you want to come.

TTORA rates this trail:
4WD
35" tires,
F/R lockers
full body armor

Personally I have ran this trail:
4wd
32's
factory rear elocker
and lots of armor(every piece of my armor was used on this trail last time i ran it)

We do not want this to be a recovery run, so make sure you and your rig are prepared. There is a high chance of body damage on this trail.

Well the weather is not looking like it is going to help this run...

but the snow levels do not look all that low tomorrow so hopefully it doesnt snow too much in mottino. Either way im down, and Wednesday sounds perfect

looks like it snowed down to about 4500 feet locally...

i heard big bear got just shy of 2 ft. Im still down so let me know whats up

MW was challenging enough dry.....I can only imagine when those rocks are slick and possibly snow.....Perhaps doing something lower like couger buttes or something would be better? Or possibly a snow run? what do you think.
