The USPS sleigh dropped off something for me today.

Also, some flex shots from the camping trip. I still have a lot of fender trimming to do in the rear, even after I raised the 4runner 2".

Been working on my cage off and on this last week.

Some BEEF recovery attachments.

Put corners on my rear bumper.

That shackle is a little small for your truck. Young Brother's mooring line might not fit.

Also have most of my cage built. I just need to finish the lower windsheild bar, the c-pillar frame mounts, and after this weekend, front tube fenders with skins. I'm also going to weld tubing into the rear wheelwells since I am cutting up my tires no matter how high I cut the fenders. Those will not be connected to the cage.

Not sure what I'm gonna do. I still have to try a couple things to make sure it's not a rod knock. If it turns out to be another chity engine, I might rebuild the first one that went bad or say, fuck the diesel, and put a 1uz in it.

I have a good engine to swap into my sc400 and I can take the one I pull from it, fix it, and drop it into my 4runner.

Got new motor mounts made and installed. Used tj suspension bushings pressed into a tube this time.

Not all legal yet, but hopefully one day.

Got it painted this weekend, just have to get the cage on it and touch up the weld joints.

That's more like it!! Hawaii taught me a lot. Unfortunately my hour commute each way and my new ridiculous schedule is trying to beat it all out of me. I need me some island time with my two favorite local peeps! ;-)

I found some action, but it got away.

Tried a hill climb and my turbo ate itself.

Then found some ruts with only N/A power

Now I gotta get on that 1uz swap. This turbo diesel doesn't generate enough power to really spin the tires.
