Hey guys, I searched around a bit and haven't really found what I'm looking for. I'm interested in redoing the sub box in my access cab. When I did the system, I just threw together a box and my uncle hooked me up with a 10" alpine type s sub. I like some bass to my music but nothing to insane. Can somebody who knows this stuff fill me in on how my sound would be affected if I was to downsize to an 8" sub. I'd like to copy this box https://www.soundoffaudio.com/item.cfm/id/2360
I'm wondering if I buy a higher quality 8" that will fire down in this box will it sound as good as my cheap 10" firing up? I just don't know anything about ohms rms max power and all that. I've been trying to read up but its kind of confusing and I'm not sure how these two things compare. I'm open to sub suggestions if anyone has any as well. Thanks Tyler.
