I recommend adding that it is a 4x4. As it is not in the post. Very nice ride I will be sure to put in a bid.

$33k? You do know modifications do not add value right?

Love the rig man! You set it up perfectly! Very nice. GLWS. I wish I had the cash I would be all over this! Who made the swing out tire carrier? I really like that! Thats one tough looking rear bumper too.
But I gotta agree with "johnecon2001" the price is a bit high considering the year.
Good luck though man!

The bumpers were built by a local fab shop. I think mods add value to the right person. The price is or best offer. Im flexible on the price to a point I dont have to sell it so Im not going to give it away. The truck has low miles and has been taken care of very well.

I haven't been trying to sell the truck lately but it is still for sale.

I disagree that mods don't add value. If I was looking for a truck to buy and then build and found one that was close to how I wanted it. I would be willing to pay more for it than I would for a stock truck. Just a guess but I don't think he is getting all the money he put in back out.

You're going to miss that truck... I had a WRX for a short period. The excitement wore off quickly with HIGH insurance, poor mpg (low 20s) on Premium Fuel, crappy interior carpet, limited storage and no torque. It was fun to drive when you wanted to redline it. But it was gutless just zipping around town it without fully spooling the turbo @ 4,000 rpm. Slow on hill starts waiting for the turbo to spool (almost dangerous at times) unless you rev and dump the clutch. Just some thoughts...

Lows 20's for mpg? My subaru got 25mpg on the freeway and around 20 in town. I had on 05 legacy gt. Same engine as the 05+ wrx engines. just a different turbo. That car was a blast to drive. Ins wasnt bad at all either and my driving record is horrible. My stock turbo started spooling at 2600rpms. I had no problems on hills at all starting.

OP if your ganna get an wrx or sti go ahead. they are fun to drive. The new body style has good room but the older ones dont really. In my legacy i could fit a good amount of room. I recommend checking out the 05-09 legacy GT's especially spec. B's. They are surprisingly quick and with a little bit of modding they are fast.

I agree. The Legacy GT is a much better vehicle. I was close a couple times to buying. It makes better torque and much more refined. They are also reasonable for insurance.

In contrast... The STI has the highest insurance rate of any vehicle. Gas mileage is in the teens to maybe low, low 20s. They are meant to be raced. It would be an incredible autocross car. Just my thoughts. I do love Subarus and have owned 3 over the past 10 years.
